50th Anniversary

3 tiered cake to serve 20 people. This is smaller than it looks. 8 inch square, 6 inch round and 4 inch round. The 50 is white chocolate. stripes, circle and 50 are brushed with gold luster dust (Edible glitter). I do wish I had put a top border on the bottom tier.

A bridal shower cake for my cousin. She is using river rocks in her wedding theme. The words are lryics to their song ("Then" by Brad Paisley). The green fondant is the color of her girls dresses and the groom to be proposed at Niagara Falls, thus the falls. The rocks are actually marshmallow fondant--even I was impressed with how real they looked.

This side shows the jitterbugs--which is a scene that was cut from the movie, but is included in the play. The costumes were yellow with black polka dots. The house that fell on the wicked witch of the east--her legs are sticking out. It also starts the yellow brick road that winds around the whole cake up to the emerald city. Notice the ruby slippers and lollipops in munchkin land to the right of the house.

Decorated for a friend's backyard wedding. She loves frogs. Gumpaste lily pads, marshmallow fondant cattails dipped in cocoa. Ceramic frogs over a pink heart shaped patch of flowers. Blue gel used for water. There were also 75 cupcakes in different shades of green and sprinkled with clear edible glitter
